Wearing instructions
Two things to know first: do not rush, and conditions that took years to develop won’t disappear immediately. Break your orthotics in gradually.
Ease them in
Wear for 30 minutes to 1 hour.
1 hour in the morning and 1 hour in the evening.
Increase wearing time gradually over 1–4 weeks.
If you have any questions during the wearing-in period, please contact us — we’re happy to help.
Your shoes matter most
The most important factor in your orthotics working correctly is your footwear. Use common sense with style and fit — some shoes are too narrow or too shallow to suit orthotics.
Before inserting your orthotics, remove any extra padding, arch pads, heel padding and thick cushioned liners from your footwear.
What’s normal, and what’s not
Start in the morning and follow the schedule. Minor aches in your back, hip, knee, ankle or foot during break-in aren’t uncommon — that’s why we recommend easing in over 1–4 weeks.
If you feel discomfort, shorten the wearing time. If it continues, your orthotics may need a minor adjustment — quite normal, and all part of getting back into alignment. Just call or email us.
You’re covered
Money-back guarantee
If the treated condition hasn’t sufficiently improved within 90 days of the invoice date, you may be eligible for a 50% refund of the purchase price.
Wear & tear guarantee
ModularX orthotics are guaranteed for 3 years against wear and tear. Full details are provided with your wearing instructions.
Changing foot conditions may require adjustments, modifications or replacement; we reserve the right to perform these before any refund. The guarantee doesn’t apply where a shoe style can’t accommodate our orthotics.
